I know there is already a "any car salesman" thread here but it is so dead that i thought I would make a new thread where the sole purpose is to share resources and tips for gaining our license and what we should aware of (deadlines) etc. This can be seen as a "resource/advice" thread

We can also list our experiences from applying online, paying for fees, to actually going for the exam etc

This thread may help answer questions that we may all have and by contributing, we can all help each other out

I would also like to meet some of you "future" or current car salesman in person so we can have an advice/tips sharing session

so i'll start off with 2 questions:

1. Who here is planning to become a car salesman in the near 6 months-1 year?

for me, I am planning to apply in January of 2013

2. Some people have told me that you can apply at a dealership first and then once they hire you, you then go apply for the VSA license? (so you can be guranteed a position and not have to waste time looking for a dealership right after you get your license)
