car dies above idle, 2002 civic ex

if you can help i'd greatly appreciate it =D

2002 civic ex coupe
1.7L d17a2
124,000km

-battery new
-alternator new
-spark plugs new
-all fluids new and at the proper level
-all grounds have been sanded and have zero gauge wiring
-there does not seem to be any codes, my friend used a pro scan tool, not one of the $100 cheap ones.

-just replaced the fuel pump relay (but it did not fix the problem)
-i have also checked the fuel pump fuse in the interior of the car.
-the car does not have a distributor

problem: the car starts every time and usually right away. how ever, it idles rough and can die out at idle. it usually dies right away if the gas pedal is pressed. but on occasion it will let me rev and hold revs above idle, this will only last a minute before it dies out. i am also getting an oil light even though my oil is pretty much full, as well as the transmission oil.

i do not think it is the fuel pump because she is getting gas each time i start the car and the car is bellow the average time for a pump failure for this generation.

i'm guessing now that it may be an ignition system problem and the gas is not sparking past idle.
