-rent is paid weekly (that's what "p.w" means when you're looking at ads on Gumtree)
-banks are very generous with interest (pretty sure Australia is the only country that gives govn't guranteed term deposits @ over 5%)
-You don't have to tip when you eat out (eating out is very expensive though, compared to Vancouver)
-I was blown away by the amount of Asians in Sydney
-The train/public transit system in Sydney is very good. However, you have to pay for every trip (no monthly passes, you cant use the ticket to transfer between train and bus like in BC)
-I'm 5'9", 152lbs @ <10% BF. I felt fat in Sydney (people appear to be very fit + skinny there)
-I seem to have met more girls from Austria/Germany than local ones from Sydney for some reason (they are super friendly and pretty)
Err.. I can't think of any thing else. It's 6am and I'm getting ready for a roadtrip to Alberta. I'll do another mind dump later.. LOL (BTW, I was originally from Sydney.. will be moving back there in January)
