Got in a great 30km ride today in some summer-like heat. The new bike felt good, but man do I ever need a different seat asap. I didn't realize how sore I was until I got off the bike and walked around for a bit at the half way point....made getting back on a less than enjoyable experience (until everything numbed up again )

If you're new to the bike/saddle, give it a few more rides and see if your butt breaks in, or if your saddle breaks in. Yes, it may hurt, but it might get better. Otherwise, another saddle 'may' work.
I try to buy a new saddle whenever they're on sale to give them a try...or try trading with a friend/co-worker, etc..
