I'm doing it at Britannia. Sunday from 5:45-6:30. Today is first class. It's a lot of edge work and the intermediate class is a lot of backwards skating doing crossovers and one foot turns. The beginners group is separated into two groups. One that doesn't know any edges, and one that knows some edges but works on honing forward crossovers.
I like it because the guys who teach it are pretty nice and push you pretty well. I've never taken it at 8 rinks, but from what my buddy tells me he says they spend half the time with pucks and the other half on skating, which is probably why it costs three tiems as much, but either one you take will help your skating a lot. I've done the one at Brit about 4 times last season and I'm a lot more confident with my backwards skating. The beginners one seems to be full, but the intermediate one has 10 spots left.
