A little bit. If you put a larger non-rebel body (e.g. D800, 5D Mark II) sideways (i.e. short side against your body) then it will bulge a LOT, and as well as if you use a battery grip. You will have to unmount your lens for sure if you use a grip.
A 70-200 f/2.8 will just barely squeeze in there.
