FYI Kimura Sushi changed owners (therefore the chef too). While their specials still offer decent value, the food was not as good as it was before. Still worthy of a 7/10 though.
Anyhow, chatted with the waitress and she said the previous chef/owner may open up another place in the future. I'm going to miss his california rolls with toasted sesame seeds (in fact that was what prompted me to ask about the chef
). They were my go to place when I'm around Burnaby.
