The difference is marginal. They both use the same sandforce chipset but different firmwares. Yes OCZ was plaugued by bad firmware but that's not OCZ's fault really.

For the record I've actually never had a bad OCZ drive after going through 3 of them. I'm on the agility 3 and haven't experienced any issues with the latest firmware.
