GF left Rogers (ECF) and went with Bell. Checked before hand and there's multiple towers within 1 km of our house. The reception and LTE on the iPhone seemed fine until we got home. Barely 1 bar on 3G and sometimes drops to No Service. Phone conversations are impossible unless she goes outside otherwise it just cuts in and out then disconnects. Thought it might have been a 1 off and now 3 full days in, no change. Understandably, some crappy reception here around the City isn't out of the norm but who would have ever expected in our own house. Don't live in some crazy concrete building, basement or anything, just a plain ol regular Vancouver Special. On Rogers we were always full bar inside the house. I haven't experienced such reception issues since I started using cell phones back in 1995. Spoke to Bell and they said you can cancel without penalty if it's within 14 days and not going over 30 mins. An hour was used so it's too late. Essentially have an iPhone 5 paper weight now. FUCK YOU!
Sorry for the rant, super frustrated right now and totally off topic

Fuck, I thought it was only me! Now that you brought it up, I'm in Coquitlam and it's always 1-2 bars 3G and on the rare occasion it gets LTE, it's 1 bar. I double checked the LTE coverage on Rogers coverage map and I should have no problems with LTE since LTE covers right up to PoCo. I don't live in the basement either.
Return it and get a new one I guess?
