Well, most likely the hub or the wiring in your walls is causing the problem.
Are you sure it's a hub, not a switch? What's the model number?
Hubs are old school, where data is sent from one port to every other port because it's not smart enough to know the actual destination port.
Switches are much better, because the data is directed towards a specific port.
