I'm more focused on art, really, a family will happen if it happens

In the balance of experience VS security, some careers lean heavily towards one or the other. I imagine public service workers such as police officers and firefighters, you'd lean much more towards security. How often do you hear about them being laid off, or losing their jobs? Very rarely. They're almost guaranteed a steady income and retirement. Artists on the other hand, can make nothing at all, but their incomes have no ceiling

I'm curious, how long would it take to save up for the down payment on a condo for a 1st year VPD recruit? I bet if they started to save @ 20 years old, they could probably take it for a house around 35 years old. I don't do math and I'm lazy so I'm not actually going to calculate it, hehe
