Thats a bit of a pessimistic guess I'd say. As a vpd officer lets say he starts at 50k a year, probably going up to 60-65 after 5 years. You could save 40-50k in 5 years without living a boring existence in surrey, especially if you avoided the urge to buy a nice car. I might be a bit optimistic however. Somewhere in the middle is for sure reasonable though.
