don't give up man its only 35%, whatever mark you got for the mid can still change by a lot. Make sure you go to his midterm review session whenever he actually sets it up so you can see your mistakes and double check your long answer, for my econ class last semester I went from 73 to 80 and 76 to 79 for my 2 mids just by checking, because the TA was being a dick in the 1st and just miscounted in the 2nd.
