I noticed that I was able to skate through poke checkers as well. I literally skated forward through a man that poke check spammed the crap out of me but I didn't lose the puck at all. Guess they didn't put any attributes on their poke checking?  . My 90 poke checking still works good so I'm happy 
The skating seems a lot smoother, your guys stops and goes way quicker now and sharp turns don't dig into the ice as much as before

I like how they finally fixed the poke checking, it was ridiculously easy to poke or get poked ... it makes sense that your 90 stick checking is still good cause its 90 but I think everyone had it that they didn't bother putting anything on them cause it was broken.
I agree that the skating is better, my guy doesn't feel like a slug anymore and its made hitting so much easier now, my guy feels more like my NHL12 player again ...
