^^ I'll have to rent it again to see since I've only used it indoors before. I would think that if it gets the shot then it's def not a waste. I use my 135mm most of the time but find it just isnt fast enough even with the iso cranked for a lot of the low light shots. And it also likes to hunt but I'm blaming that on my body.
