So I have two issues...

1) I want to compress my videos that I record from my phone (Galaxy S2). Recording even 30 mins of video = 400mb, and that's only on 640x480 too. I figured I can either use Premiere CS3 or some guy on YouTube said I can do it easily using Windows Movie Maker. If anyone has a better method, please let me know. I'm pretty noob at this video editing stuff.

2) So the problem is, my phone records videos in .mp4 format. I'm not sure if there is a way to change this, but both Premiere CS3 and Windows Movie Maker can't read .mp4 format. So now I don't even know how to work on this video.

To the video gurus, please advise...
