It also didn't account for the amount of time spent driving; I'd lay odds women over 60 have spent about half as much time driving as their male counterparts given cultural trends at the time.


Also, that study notes that men are more likely to engage in what would be statistically considered "at-risk activities" and not necessarily things which result in accidents.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Gotta love it.


That having been said, insurance companies give better rates to women because they have fewer (major) accidents.
