How much do they get paid? I heard somewhere around 20$. Last time I checked, people with degrees have jobs that pay less than that.
If they don't like it I am sure there are people working at McDonalds who would love having their job.
I hope SFU screw them up, even fire them if they can and hire new people (I don't know how unions work so not sure if they can do that).
They want higher wages at the expense of students who will obviously have to pay more tuition to cover their wage increase.

TSSU is the same crap. They say they did not had a contract for 2 years. But someone told me that they actually turned down every contract offered to them in that timeframe because they didn't like it.
What's more than that, they bend you over when they correct your exams. I mentioned in this thread how I got back 20% more on my exam by requesting a re-mark from the senior instructor. They enjoy venting off by making students grades miserable because 20$+ per hour is not enough. To me it looks like a sence of entitlement, just like waitresses who expect 15% no matter what
