Thanks man! Surprisingly, smolov wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I think it's because I based the program on ~95% of my true 1rm. That way I still got a ton of heavy squatting in but I never came close to missing a rep so my confidence was sky high in the end.

I haven't had a chance to deadlift yet. I got to the gym too late last night, I just finished squatting right when they were closing. I might test it this weekend before I deload for a couple weeks.

I assume you did Smolov too Jordan? How were your gains? How was your deadlift after?
yeah I ran Smolov and Smolov JR almost identical to yours, deadlift went up 30-40lbs too
