It's hard man, when what you're going after is that perfect fit for you. On top of that throwing price into the mix adds another layer. But man when you find that brand that gives you the exact fit you're looking for, it's golden and it's time to stock up.
People have already suggested the most common ones for the price point you're aiming for though. AE, BR, Gap, Haines etc
Vince has some decent ones but the price is higher than $20, Abercrombie has nice thick cotton but of course you gotta go down to Bellingham and they don't have straight up plain with zero logos, maybe a small AB logo on the chest just like AE tshirts.
