But alas, this is RS where most say nearly every movie and TV series is boring and a 7/10. Sometimes I cant believe how nothing is good enough to anyone here lol. I've never seen so many people post "I got up and left half way thru" absolutely epic blockbuster movies as Ive seen here.

I'm not going to take anything away from Avatar's visuals. Other than that? I personally thought it was pretty bland and mediocre at best in terms of everything else.
Oscar nomination for best picture? Give me a break. I was so happy The Hurt Locker won that year.
Cameron's Titanic grossed a shitload too, and that movie was ass.
Sorry, I'm just a really big Avatar hater. I didn't think it was a shitty film. I just thoughtit got waaaaay too much credit than it deserved from both the box office and from all it's nominations/wins.
I think this speaks for itself though...
