Come to think of it, of the top 3, she's the only one that doesn't really have her own identity. Tate and Emblem 3 are ready to hit the scene, like now. Carly still needs to find a sound to call her own.

Good points all around. Carly's biggest benefit in this may be her parents - from what we've seen of them so far, they're solidly grounded, supportive of her, but not pushing her. I get the impression they'll have a lot to say when it comes to whatever contracts she signs, and that it will be done with HER best interests 110% in mind, rather than their own. You can really see the kind of people they are, in the kind of person she is.
