I love kobe vi's. Best bball shoes for me. I don't have Kobe v's but I heard great things about them as well. They can be had for cheap via ebay.
FWIW, I saw some Jordan Superflys at nordstrom rack for $60. Supposedly one of the better shoes for 2012 as well. Jordan Brand is dope performance wise. Designwise and price point, most of it is hot garbage for most new releases.
