Are you sure ? From what I recall, the avg is equivalent to a C+ and the letter grade increases based on the standard deviation. I guess the system is different in Upper level classes.

I believe you actually only need 2.4 to stay in the faculty. Not too hard really. However, some people may have realized that business is not their interest so they go into other faculties. So now you are left with those interested in the subject and hardworking keeners.
I am taking 2 UD classes and both have close to 80% avg. The profs never told me how the marks are to be distributed. But apparently, UD courses distributes more A's and B's according to some members here on revscene. I guess I will see when the time comes.
