More to the point then: if you loose or misplace your DL your[sic] a goof, moron, idiot, fag whatever for coming on RS and whining when you do get a fine for not producing it. You know the consequences, you take the risk... you get busted, you suck it up like a man.

You still have a licence to drive even if you are not carrying it on yourself people jeeze. That's like saying if you loose or misplace your Carecard don't dare go to the hospital or doctors till you get that remedied first cus youd be an idiot to do that too. Great you've never lost your woopty fuckin doo charlie brown.

Bingo. Not having your drivers license on you when you are required to produce it does not mean that you don't have a license. If one loses their license, it doesn't mean that they have lost the ability to drive. I think a few people in here seem to think otherwise. There is a reason why you get a measly fine for this infracting; it's to discourage people from purposely leaving it at home. A drivers license is a quick, easy and solid proof that you are authorized to drive a vehicle, and that is all.
So what if you misplaced it or forgot it at home? You pay a fine, pay the penalty and move on. It's not an idiot move or a stupid move just because you think that you'll never do it. Reality check, TONS of people forget their licenses everyday. Not everyone has the same routine as everyone. Not everyone carries their license in their wallets or carry their wallets around with them everywhere. Some do and it has become routine for them which is why it might sound stupid for someone to forget their license at home. But like I said, not everyone works the same way as you and one way isn't the right way or the wrong way.
