I bought the U2410 a few weeks ago when it was on sale. I've been reading about how great this monitor is for well over a year. I guess I bought the hype so much that I was expecting unicorns and rainbows to shoot out of the thing when I fired it up.
Really, it's just a monitor. Not much different than my 4 year-old 21.5" LG monitor that it replaced. Just bigger. Anti-glare is nice. I guess my eyes can't tell the difference between this IPS and whatever monitor type I had before it.
I'm not saying this to spite others who champion the U2410. I'm just being honest so other potential owners lower their expectations, and possibly even consider a cheaper monitor. I wouldn't spend the $400+ again on this monitor had I the chance to reconsider.
edit: I should also mention that I don't take advantage of what this monitor is supposedly geared towards, EG: photo editing, or whatever else that needs color accuracy. It's just a monitor I use for regular, everyday stuff like youtube and watching shows/movies.
