It's over. Clippers win! A masterful, MVP performance by CP3.

-really liked the way Chris Paul made space for himself in the Clippers' half court offence so that he can make jumpers, pass the ball, etc. MVP! MVP! CP3 scores the final eight points for his team. Talk about stepping up with the game on the line.

CP3 is the best point guard in the league
. He's the smartest PG, for sure.

The Lakers defence still needs work. Case in point, with the game about 1 minute left in the fourth quarter. Howard fouls CP3 from behind. That was a dumbass foul by Dwight. MWP is right there to defend the basket, and block Paul's shot. Howard fouls out as a result of that bad foul.

I agree with Jalen Rose and Magic's assessment of D'Antoni coaching style. The guys commented during halftime that great coaches have specific game plans against different teams. Great coaches know how to adapt their offensive systems and play to each team's strengths.

The Lakers have the talent to be a better team. No doubt. Can somebody tell me why a good post player like Gasol is at the three point arc, shooting threes instead playing more in the post?? -hardly noticed Gasol at all in the game tonight.

D'Antoni is using the same high tempo offence, "7 seconds or less" offensive system for his team against every team that the Lakers play. He's not adjusting his system to match with the team's strengths, and age. Lakers are playing Mike Brown $11 million, $12 million for D'Antoni.
As Rose said during halftime "11 plus 12 equals $23 million." That's money for Phil Jackson."

Game highlights of CP3:
