True, but im not really in a rush to setup my system, but I wish I knew I needed this adapter because I ordered my HDMI cable off ebay as well, woulda made the order come at once

I had a lot of problems getting my hdmi to work before. The reason being is that my video card has a weird little mini-hdmi connector thing which goes to the normal hdmi connection and was unable to get a good connection.
Anyways, you can get DVI to HDMI or any other from ncix for about $10. I bought cheap n-gear ones and they work great.

Yeah I was going to go to NCIX, but it was closed when I already found out what I needed to get this to work so I just ordered it off ebay. Dont mind the 11-12 days wait
