^ that and any other advice similar to it won't work because the problem is the bacteria deep inside the fabric that's giving the smell off. So putting fabric softener, coffee beans rice or whatever else won't work simply because they do nothing to kill this bacteria

And bleach theoretically should work wonders but it doesn't.... Best bet would be to get some medical grade cleaners, liquids, like shit they use at doctor and dentists offices to disinfect materials. Those can also be used on clothes, it is so potent that it will make your clothes or shoes smell chemically for a few days, but the bad smell before completely disappears
