I imagine that it would be. Unless you want to get the competitive (and sexual) juices flowing by playing Jenga, there are plenty of more subdued places to go in the area like the Irish Heather, the Pourhouse, or the Diamond. I like the Pourhouse myself because they have a couple of couches which are great for relaxing the both of you and conducive to physical contact (should you proceed to that level.)

If you don't mind dishing out a bit more for your first date, Bacchus is also a nice place for a drink. Like the Pourhouse, there are couches to make things more intimate.

If you want to keep the evening alcohol-free, I have never gone wrong by taking my dates to a dessert place. Sweet Revenge on Main and 25th is probably the most initimate in the city, but Thierry is also a good bet too because after all, all women love anything French or French-inspired.
