Problem is I'm flying out of Calgary not Vancouver. China Southern doesn't fly out of Calgary but thanks anyways.
Found one for $1600 at cheapoair.ca

but apparently, they have horrible reviews so I'm even gonna bother flying with them.
Looks like I'm gonna be out $1700+ afterall
