if its for just storage and your not going to put your Operating system on it... get a western digital green. if your going to put your OS on it and you tend to move your files alot and back them up, get a western digital black.

i guess in your price range get a WDgreen if its just storage, get a barracuda if your using it for multipurpose (putting your os, games, movies, pictures etc.)
