Nanaimo is not
that bad... and if you do think it's bad, you obviously haven't been to many other cities on the Island.
Because my in-laws live on one of the gulf islands, I'm in Nanaimo more then I'd like to admit
But over the years, it's grown on me quite a bit. I would certainly rather live there, before most of the suburbs of the Lower Mainland.
