Ya know.....
Last season I crashed my ATV and tore up the muscles in my pinky. I also dislocated it, which was the least of my worries. Of course it happened at the end of the season when the most important games were being played.
I missed a week of hockey, then taped it up in my blocker to finish the season. Smashed it a couple of times and it hurt, but it's what we do for the sport.
The off season is enough time to heal.

Also take what I said above tongue in cheek. Stupid people go out with existing injuries. Those are the same lug headed mofos who wake up every morning with pain.
