you can do it with a couple hundred well a few hundred

you can buy a HTIB from a brand like Onkyo, Yamaha, Denon

there is a lot to read about everything from different receivers to different speakers to subwoofers and amps for the subs etc etc

but under your budget a HTIB would be your best bet

something like this
5.1 NCIX - Buy Computers, Computer Parts, Laptops, World's Leading Discount Computer Store

7.1 http://www.visions.ca/Catalogue/Cate...25&sku=HTS5500

If you wanted to go LESS than that like in the 100-200ish range than anything is just as good tbh pick something that you like based on what you know even if its nothing

or you could go this route

http://onlinestore.avu.ca/mystore/pr...id_product=606 329
http://www.ayreborn.com/products/view/526 249
http://www.ayreborn.com/products/view/555 179
OR this subwoofer on Sale Saturday, tomorrow for $98 http://www.visions.ca/catalogue/cate...rchText=PSW108

thats a budget system that is, well, pretty sweet imo

Best solution if you were to buy a system is to go to a showroom and test it out if you like it go for it
