Is it possible that we're all just spoiled? We have such a wide variety of burgers around the lower mainland all made with pretty good quality ingredients that its becoming difficult to decide who has the best burger in town? Everyone has different tastes though, whether its the quality of meet, how well its prepared and cooked or perhaps its the toppings and how juicy everything is.

I'm not a food critic nor am I a burger connoisseur but I'm interested to hear what do you guys think.
Five Guys Burgers is good.

I don't think we are spoiled. I think we have alot of variety of different burger joints, except most of them aren't good, and the ones that we think are good are just mediocre, compared to your American counterpart.

Heck, even a city like Seattle that's NOT known for having good diners beats anything we have up here. Once you've tried the finer burgers in the States, everything else we have here is just below-par.

Just like one poster mentioned, you rarely find burger joints here that serve their burger patties partially pink. In the states, any half decent burger joint/diner would serve your burger patties medium done. It's a sign of high quality in-house made beef patties.

Even though I haven't had a Vera's burger in years, I remember them being REALLY good years ago when they only had like one or two locations. The ingredients were fresh and the patties were juicy. Has the quality suffered that much?
