REVscene Automotive Forum - View Single Post - New speakers, headphones won't work until I switch settings

i have the exact same problem. i have to manually right click the speaker icon in the systray > playback devices to disable the speakers to get headphones to work while silencing the speakers. then i have to re-enable the speakers to get sound to the speakers instead of the headphone.

i remember my older computer will automatically do the switch when i plug/unplug the headphones in. it is annoying.
