Max's really opened in Vancouver just to pander to the local Filipino community looking for the nostalgia of back home anyways. Price-wise, it's like Swiss Chalet, and just as bad. If I wanted a Filipino take on fried chicken, I'll grab Chickenjoy from Jollibee in Seattle, or stick to Church's
