Personally I vote no. This is coming from someone who has worked in the m/c industry for about 6 years. You're too big, you'll get bored very quick. I would suggest (like I did in the other thread) to find a $1500-$2000 EX250 or EX500 from the 90's/early 2000's. It won't be the most exotic looking bike out there but a great learner and they don't loose value. And you'll enjoy it a lot longer without worrying about upgrading.
