What's the reason? Do you actually know the differences in the leather, other than the branding?
Not trying to sound condescending, because I really don't know the difference myself.
You put a $1500 branded jacket next to a $200 Danier one, I wouldn't know which one's which.

I've been wearing my Danier for 2-3 years now, and the build is still holding perfect. It fits well, looks good, feels good. Yes, it's starting to wear out a bit, but I paid I think $200 ish, and it's been 2-3 years. Not to mention the worn out look is kinda cool
And I couldn't agree more with the pricing. Even if the designer branded ones really
are that much better in quality and build (which I'm not so sure they are), I would still rather have 5+ Danier jackets over a decade, than 1 jacket I'm gonna get bored of in a couple years.
