How casual is casual? 30-60 minutes once a week?
Cycling is a repetitive motion type of sport. You're sitting in one position doing the same thing over and over.
If you are in a bad position on your bike, over time, that will translate into sore back, sore muscles, pain, etc.
Can u get away with no bike fit? Yes.
But it's best to get fitted. You will be more comfortable, less pain, better performance etc.
Do your hands or arms get numb? Shoulders sore? Knees sore? Lower back pain? That type of stuff can be related to a poor fit.
