If it really is the truth and you barely missed the cutoff, you can emailed the prof and negotiate. I have done it in the past only a few times when I know I was close. One prof was nice to bump me 1 letter grade and I was 0.5% away from the cutoff. The other prof didn't bump me and I was in an identical situation but I understand it wasn't really close like 0.1 or 0.2%. So I suggest go to the prof's office hour during next semester.
