I don't have the money to spend to get nice oysters shucked for chowder.
Best I would could hope for is my aunt doing chiu chow oyster pancakes.
Also, I like the small ones the best. Kumamotos and Miyagi are probably my favs. I get mine from Seafood City on Granville Island.
Done a couple oyster nights, have yet to have a single sub-par oyster.

Hey you don't need a wad of money to eat oysters, you can easily get them on sale at whole foods for like .69 for some kusshi or fanny bay's. You don't need to eat alot to be happy!
