Yeah that's probably right. I was talking to a friend that lives/works here and he basically said the same thing. HK lifestyle is waay more rushed when compared to places like Vancouver. People are always in a hurry to get to work or whatever the hell they're doing..especially during rush hours and lunch time.

I don't like going to the areas where mainland tourists go, mostly because of all the smoke. Obviously I don't mind crowded places, otherwise I never would have moved there. But the amount of smoke has gotten to the point where walking around areas like CWB or TST is like being in a crowded smokey izakaya in Japan - and I avoid those as much as I can. It's truly disgusting

I completely agree with the smoke thing. Been frequenting MK and TST these past few days and it seems like everyone smokes.
