-very comfortable and instructors definitely make sure you are comfortable even when you aren't comfortable
-they do a lot to take the romantic notion of riding out of your head... they provide VERY real expectations about what the sport is like and the consequences for mistakes on the street.... if you go in thinking you need a litre-bike as your first ride you will likely come out with (rightly) scaled back expectations...
I am a diehard car guy and always avoided bikes because I was afraid they would take away my passion for cars.... after five days in the course I appreciated biking, I appreciated the sport and I appreciated why some people are so devoted to bikes... however, my general idea that sportbike fans and sports car fans rarely overlap was even further cemented.... people either love bikes or cars and rarely both.... after five days I still loved my cars...
THEN the big road ride happened... like so many people here, we got to jump on the 250cc Ninjas (no more Sherpa for our big ride!) and we headed down King George, across the Pattullo Bridge, into Burnaby, a breif stint on the HWY, onto Grandview, Commercial, through downtown, across Burrard, into Granville island, out to UBC, the airport and back to Surrey...... BAM, I was sold..................................
I think my biggest take away from this course was the quality of instruction AND... the fact that they work very carefully to ensure that students completely and totally understand the risks, consequences and dangers of riding.... I think they probably ensure that a lot of people who want to get into the sport for the WRONG reasons either adapt to a safer mentality or abandon the concept all together....
I cannot for a SECOND imagine somebody getting their bike license without taking this course.
A+++++++

Thank you very much for your thorough review on PRS. I myself will be taking the course in the beginning of June and this just got me pumped even more.
Also looking for people to sign up with!
