and no, i didn't run over the crow nor did the van behind me. i checked my rearview as i was exiting the lot and it was just hopping and derping around. creepy thing was, there were a few other crows that were circling above my car before i reversed and drove outta the lot.

I had a crow encounter last week too. It's cause June & July are when the kids leave the nest and learn to fly

. So if you're ever wondering why crows are squawking and dive-bombing you, there's probably a nestling or fledgling nearby.
You can tell that they're nestlings by the blue eyes (versus brown for adult). Even though they're close to full size, they're clumsy and can barely fly. The crows circling above are probably adults trying to stop you from kidnapping their kid.
