Place the avocado in the palm of your hand with core up. Grab large sharp knife. Use your karate chopping skills to slice into core like you would split wood with an axe. Once knife is lodged into core, twist the knife in clockwise direction (Must be clockwise, otherwise it won't work.... j/k).
