Sounds like a mistake than any new person to this kind of thing would make.
A dude shows you his sick car with promises that he can do the same to yours yada yada yada and then he focks you in the ass.
Atleast now you know and hopefully others will also learn from your experiences.
Condensation is likely from baking it 3 times... and I doubt they even used any form of re-sealant...
