Dealership discounts in other locales will have no bearing in Vancouver because its all about local competition. Unless, you are actually willing to get your bike from Ontario that is.
Carter Motorsports wouldn't give me anything, even on their one and only red 500ra with scratched up mirrors.
So then I went to Honda Center and they were only willing to "waive" the documentation fee, which is bullshit anyways, so you don't actually get any discount off the sticker price.
Holeshot was willing to do a price match on any of the other dealerships with a $100 gift card in addition.
Most of the dealerships will have similar pricing, they know what they are up against locally, but all of them should also offer a 15% discount on accessories. On a brand new model, you will probably end up feeling a little bit of regret for paying too much, like I did.
I don't have any experience with Kawasaki because the Ninja wasn't something I looked deeper into. The 500r is a great bike and I knew it was the one I want.
REALLY IMPORTANT: You have to factor in the maintenance for the 500r into the cost because the service manual states that you have to do a valve adjustment at 1000km and that cost me $589.09 at Honda Center.
