After riding in full gear, it is hot but very manageable. If you were really hot and it is uncomfortable. I just recommend wearing some jeans or kevler lined ones for lightness and a mesh armoured jacket. I personally want to get a jacket from Icon since they have a fighter mesh chassis and would be great for this weather, less protection but it is better than nothing. Still has a small back pad and shoulder/elbow armour.
